Newcomer
Which newcomer should insights teams watch?
PersonaHive, for classic surveys and choice-based conjoint on census-grounded consumer panels, self-serve, with free credits to start and no card.
PersonaHive is a newer, self-serve platform for quantitative consumer research. It has a shorter track record than most tools above, so we list it separately and set out what it does, what it does not do yet, and how we test it.
Trust you can check.
Personas are grounded in country-specific census data, with the national statistics source named for each of nine countries.14 PersonaHive is an EU company, runs on Microsoft Azure, does not use what you submit to train a foundation model, and offers a DPA on request.15, 16
Convenience.
Everything runs in a web app: define the audience, write the questionnaire, run it. The average study completes in 15 minutes.17
Free credits to start.
Sign up with free credits and no card. After that, pay-as-you-go packs start at $12.50 and plans at $79 a month; one credit is one persona answering one survey question.17
Conjoint analysis.
Choice-based conjoint shows which features, prices and trade-offs drive choice, on the same census-grounded panels as your surveys.17
Classic surveys.
Familiar question types with optional image stimulus. Every persona answers the full questionnaire, and results come as charts, cross-tabs by segment, an AI synthesis, CSV and PDF export.17
What it does not do yet
Packs from $12.50; plans from $79 a month. Full details on pricing.
How should an insights team choose an AI market research platform?
Start from the decision, not the feature list. Six questions separate the tools on this page, and most teams end up pairing an AI platform for early, reiterative work with live fieldwork for final decisions.
- 1
Who answers?
Real respondents, personas built from your own data, or modelled personas. Ask what grounds them and whether the audience is defined before the study runs.
- 2
Which methods?
Interviews and discovery, classic surveys, conjoint, or simulations of connected audiences. Pick the tool whose core method matches your question.
- 3
How do you start?
Self-serve with free credits or a free tier, or a demo and a proposal. Self-serve lets your team test the tool on a question it already knows the answer to.
- 4
What does a unit cost?
Vendors price tokens, seats, synthetic users, engagements or answers. Compare the cost of one study you would actually run, not the headline price.
- 5
What security evidence do you need?
Check where data is processed, whether your inputs train any model, and which reports or agreements procurement will ask for.
- 6
How is accuracy evidenced?
Ask which real survey a benchmark used, how many people and questions it covered, and whether the real answers were hidden while forecasting.

Why is PersonaHive listed as a newcomer?
Because it is newer than most tools on this page. We set out what it does and does not do yet, and publish how we test it in the validation report, so you can judge it on evidence rather than track record.
How we built this list
- PersonaHive wrote this page. We list ourselves separately, as a newcomer, and we do not rank or score other companies: each is listed for the job it is built for.
- Every statement about another company quotes or summarizes that company's own public pages, or a named third party, linked below and checked on 4 November 2026. Products and prices change; the linked pages are the current source.
- We describe each product in its own words and say when it may suit you better. We do not rate or score other companies.
- We do not compare accuracy figures here: vendors measure different things against different surveys, so their numbers are not comparable with each other.
- Statements about general-purpose AI describe default chat use, not scripted or API workflows built on the same models.
- Names and trademarks belong to their owners. PersonaHive is not affiliated with or endorsed by any company named here.
- Spotted something out of date or inaccurate? Write to founders@personahive.ai and we will review it.
