Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards that all users of PersonaHive must follow. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and applies to all use of the Service, including AI-generated outputs.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to generate, store, or distribute content that:

• Is illegal under applicable law, including content that infringes intellectual property rights, defames identifiable individuals, or violates trade sanctions.
• Promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against protected classes.
• Sexualises minors or constitutes child sexual abuse material in any form.
• Is designed to deceive, manipulate, or defraud (including disinformation campaigns and synthetic media impersonating real people without consent).
• Manipulates elections, voter behavior, or democratic processes.
• Provides medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice in a way that impersonates a licensed professional or could cause harm if relied upon.

3. Persona & Survey Data Misuse

Synthetic personas are statistical constructs. The following uses are prohibited:

• Uploading real personally identifiable information (PII) of identifiable individuals to construct personas without a lawful basis and explicit consent.
• Scraping or ingesting third-party datasets in violation of their terms of service.
• Presenting AI-generated persona outputs as quotes from real individuals or as statistically projectable population data without appropriate disclaimers.
• Using the Service to profile individuals for adverse decisions (employment, credit, insurance, law enforcement).

4. Prohibited Technical Use

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the underlying models or training data of the Service.
• Using the Service to train, adapt, or otherwise reproduce competing AI models ("model extraction").
• Accessing the Service via unauthorized means, sharing credentials, or evading rate limits.
• Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system without prior written authorization.
• Introducing malware, exploits, or denial-of-service traffic.

5. Rate Limits & Fair Use

The Service applies usage quotas and rate limits to ensure availability for all users. Sustained or programmatic excess that exceeds reasonable individual or team usage may be throttled, queued, or require an upgraded plan.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to founders@personahive.ai with the subject line "AUP report". We investigate all credible reports.

7. Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, throttling, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, with no obligation to refund. Severe or repeated violations may be reported to law enforcement. We may take immediate action without prior notice when necessary to protect the Service, our users, or third parties.
